Luol Deng scored 15 points and helped stop LeBron James on a drive in the final seconds as the Chicago Bulls ended the Cavaliers’ three-game winning streak, 86-85, last night in Cleveland.

Derrick Rose had 14 points and 11 assists and John Salmons added 14 points for the Bulls, who handed the Cavaliers their second loss at home. Cleveland, which lost to the Celtics in its opener, only lost two regular-season games and went 45-3 at Quicken Loans Arena last season.

James (25 points) lost the ball out of bounds with 3.2 seconds to go after powering his way to the hoop. He thought there was sufficient bumping to get a foul called on either Deng or Joakim Noah. The Bulls, and the officials, saw it differently.

Jazz 113, Spurs 99 - Carlos Boozer ended his slump with 27 points and 14 rebounds as host Utah snapped a two-game losing skid.

Tim Duncan had 15 points and Tony Parker scored 21, but just 4 in the second half as San Antonio couldn’t overcome the Jazz’s torrid shooting.
