PORTLAND, Maine—Fans who want to get a peek at pro basketball while the NBA is sidelined by a labor dispute have a chance to watch the Maine Red Claws practice.

The NBA Development league team says its Saturday morning practice is open to spectators. The practice at the Portland Expo Building will be one of the last few during training camp before the team's 2011-12 roster is selected.

Fans will be able to see behind the scenes as Red Claws Head Coach Dave Leitao puts the players through the paces. The final roster for the 2011-12 will be set Wednesday and the Red Claws will open the new season on the road at Springfield on Friday.

The Red Claws will play 24 home games at the Portland Expo this season.
