Celtics use the 3-pointer to overcome pesky Bucks

It was by no means charming for the Celtics, but on their third try, they finally beat the Milwaukee Bucks.

Tuesday night’s 108-100 win at TD Garden didn’t come easy for the Celtics, who, as in their previous two matchups against Milwaukee this season, gave away an early double-digit lead.

Yet unlike those two losses, the Celtics hung on, improving their record to 8-12.

The woeful Bucks fell to 3-14 – and, yes, two of those three wins are over the Celtics.

The teams faced each other Saturday night in Milwaukee, where the Celtics were abysmal from beyond the arc, missing 15 of 19 3-pointers.

But the Celtics dialed long distance again a couple days later and finally connected, tying their season-high with 11 3-pointers.
