If anyone viewed Rajon Rondo as the Celtics’ potential savior this season, as a player who could swoop in and rescue them from one of the worst campaigns in franchise history, he begs to differ.

“Even when I do come back to 110 percent, we’re still going to lose games,” the point guard told the Globe.

The Celtics, who are off until hosting the Magic Sunday, have lost plenty lately — four straight and 19 of their last 22. At 15-33, they have the NBA’s third-worst record.

The Celtics are also 0-6 with Rondo in the lineup this season, proof that their issues run deep, so much so that he alone cannot turn around a ship that is heading straight for a likely lottery draft pick.
