Rajon Rondo ‘may want to go through’ free agency

WALTHAM — Rajon Rondo went through the recruiting process once before, prior to entering college. And the Celtics point guard admitted Friday that he wouldn’t mind going through it again, only this time by testing the NBA free agent waters in 2015.

In response to a recent report that indicated Rondo “is looking forward to becoming an unrestricted free agent” in the summer of 2015 when his current contract is up, a smiling Rondo said, in part, that “I may want to go through it.”

During practice Friday, Rondo stressed that he has made no decisions about his future and is focused only on this season.
