Miscellany: It seems both teams got good returns from the 2006 draft-day trade in which Portland sent Theo Ratliff, Sebastian Telfair, and a second-round pick to the Celtics for the draft rights to Randy Foye. Foye's rights were dealt to Minnesota for the rights to Roy, and Ratliff and Telfair were later used to swing the deal that sent Kevin Garnett to Boston . . . At 14-6, the Blazers are off to their best start since the 1999-2000 team opened 15-5. That team finished with 59 wins . . . After a knee injury wiped out his first professional season, and a foot injury sustained in his debut sidelined him for six games this season, Oden is beginning to hint at the promise he showed at Ohio State.
