Glen Davis is one of two Celtics whose contracts expire after this season. He is in the final year of the two-year, $6 million extension he signed during the summer of 2009, and he could be a free agent precisely when the NBA’s collective bargaining agreement expires, a predicament many players have been trying to avoid.
