The NBA announced Monday that the Celtics will play in two preseason games in October against European clubs as part of NBA Europe 2012 Live.

The Celtics will play Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul Oct. 5 at Ulker Sports Arena in Istanbul and then face EA7 Emporio Armani at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan Oct. 7.

The Dallas Mavericks are also part of the tour and will play Alba Berlin Oct. 6 in Germany.

The Celtics could have a different look if Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen leave as free agents, but the team remains an international draw.

Allen eyeing Heat?

League sources told ESPN.com’s Brian Windhorst that Allen is interested in signing with the Miami Heat, and the feeling is mutual.

Free agency opens July 1 and Miami is an attractive option for players, the Heat becoming even more attractive after winning the NBA title last week.

But the most the Heat can afford to pay Allen is $3 million per season, according to Windhorst. Allen made $10 million last season.
