Celts-Magic notes

We’re here courtside at the TD Banknorth Garden where the Celtics and Magic are set to tip off at 7:30 p.m.

Gerald Green, Brian Scalabrine, Allan Ray, Leon Powe, and Kendrick Perkins were on the court at 5:30 p.m. The players worked on coming off screens for quick jumpers. Perkins continued to work on his back-to-the-basket moves. The Celtics dancers practiced a new routine a couple of feet away.

Delonte West joined the group at 5:45 and worked on his shooting. West is coming off his best game of the season last time out against Cleveland. West had 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists against the Cavs. This year's backup point guard spent most of the pregame session working on his long-range game.

NBA All-Star balloting begins today in NBA arenas, including the Garden. Fans can also vote on NBA.com. From the Celtics, West, Paul Pierce and Wally Szczerbiak are among the 60 Eastern Conference players listed on the ballot.
