Wally in, Theo out

Posted by Gary Dzen, Boston.com Staff November 13, 2006 06:59 PM

Wally Szczerbiak said in the locker room before tonight's game that he will play against the Magic. Szczerbiak missed the Cleveland game with a strained right gluteus. The Celtics forward went through shootaround in Waltham today and said things went well.

"I don't know where it came from," said Szczerbiak of the injury.

Szczerbiak tested his injury on the court before the game and looked to be moving normally.

Theo Ratliff is out of the lineup for the Celtics tonight with a back injury.

"I know he went to see a doctor this morning," said Celtics coach Doc Rivers. "I don’t even want to speculate. I don’t think it will be sooner, but you never know."
