Celtics beat

Posted by Gary Dzen, Boston.com Staff April 26, 2007 02:05 PM

On Tuesday, the day Celtics managing partner Wyc Grousbeck sent an e-mail to the Globe on the future of Sebastian Telfair, the Celtics sent out another e-mail to fans on the team's promotional mailing list: A 'Special Kia Lease Offer' on a 2007 Kia Sportage.

It's unclear what the offer had to do with the Celtics, or with Paul Pierce and Doc Rivers, who appeared in the banner at the top of the e-mail.

A recent Google search for "Celtics" and "driving" yielded 440,000 results, many of which were on Telfair's recent arrest.
