Posted by Marc J. Spears, Globe Staff October 19, 2007 11:25 PM

WORCESTER – The Boston Celtics announced that they will offer fans the opportunity to receive discounted tickets for a future Celtics home game or receive a refund for tickets purchased for tonight’s Celtics-Nets game, which was cancelled after the first half due to condensation on the DCU Center floor. Detailed instructions for obtaining discounted tickets or refunds will be posted on Celtics.com on Saturday, October 20.

“We apologize to the Celtics fans of the Worcester area for any inconvenience they have experienced due to the problems with the playing surface which resulted in the cancellation of the second half of tonight’s game,” said Shawn Sullivan, senior vice president of ticket sales, marketing, and service.
