Big Three on All-Star ballot
The NBA announced Wednesday that Celtics forwards Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce and guard Ray Allen were among the 60 players listed on the Eastern Conference All-Star ballot. No other Celtics, including starting point guard Rajon Rondo and starting center Kendrick Perkins, were listed. The 2008 NBA All-Star Game will be held in New Orleans on Feb. 17, 2008.
Voting begins Thursday and will continue through Jan. 13 for paper balloting and Jan. 20 for NBA.com balloting. Voters select two guards, two forwards and one center from each conference. The 120 players selected from both conferences were selected by a panel of media who regularly cover the NBA.
