Kobe Bryant heated up here in the third quarter, but the Celtics were able to withstand his individual charge and hold the lead heading into the fourth.

Bryant has 22 points on 7-of-16 shooting.

Kendrick Perkins is having a monster game for the Celtics. Perk has 17 points and 7 rebounds. Those don’t seem like huge numbers, but they are for someone who averages 6.7 points. And all of Perk’s points have come at big times tonight. He’s actually looked like a part of the offense. The Celtics are plus-29 points with Perkins on the floor.
