House out

Posted by Marc J. Spears, Globe Staff November 14, 2007 08:38 PM

Celtics guard Eddie House missed Wednesday’s game against New Jersey with a sprained left ankle suffered a night earlier during a 101-86 win at Indiana. House walked into the lockeroom before the game in Celtics sweats and told teammate Brian Scalabine that he was out. Celtics coach Doc Rivers isn’t certain if House will be ready for Friday’s game against Miami.

“He just told me he was out and he said Friday was possible,” Rivers said. “We didn’t get into a whole bunch. We’ll get into it more (Thursday).”
