Posted by Gary Dzen, Boston.com Staff December 3, 2007 04:20 PM

The Celtics today sent rookie Gabe Pruitt back to their NBDL affiliate, the Utah Flash. This is Pruitt's second assignment to the Flash this season.

The rookie guard appeared in one game with the Celtics since his recall to Boston on Nov. 26. Pruitt played 13 minutes against the Knicks on Nov. 29, recording two points, one rebound, and four assists.

  1. Who????

    Just kidding...

He was closer to the locker room on the Celtic's bench chairs then playing.. he is young and needs to play... That is why the call it a Development league... Just do not use up all the options by bringing him back for 1 game and a cup of coffee...
    Go Celtics

  1. Does the NBA have options like baseball? I thought they could go back and forth with no limits.

  1. I just do not see the point in limiting the # of times a player can go up & down.

  1. If you didn't limit how many times guys could go up and down, in theory, you could have an infinite number of players on your team.
