Hot zones

The statheads are invading basketball, too.

Like their hardball counterparts, basketball fans now have ways to get even more statistical information about their favorite players. This one is actually pretty cool.

The game previews on Celtics.com now come equipped with "hot zones", which allow you to track the places on the floor where players make the most shots. Kevin Garnett's is pretty fascinating.
