KG out tonight
Kevin Garnett will sit out his second straight game tonight against the Miami Heat to rest his abdominal strain.
"He always wants to play, which is good," Celtics coach Doc Rivers said at the morning shootaround. "But he understands it's the right thing for the team."
Garnett, the Celtics' second-leading scorer (19.2) and leading rebounder (9.9), sat out the 96-93 loss in Orlando on Sunday.
Rivers said no decision has been made on whether Garnett can play Thursday, when the Celtics host the Dallas Mavericks.
"If he can play Thursday, we'll play him," Rivers said. "But again, it's got to be almost 100 percent. That's the way I look at those types of injuries."

I think Doc made the right choice to not play KG.I'am a huge garnett fan and always want to see him play. But i want him to be healthy for the rest of the season and the playoffs and the finals.Because i waited twelve years for kevin to leave the timberwolves and go somewhere where he can get some help and win a title. Not to mention paul and ray and the rest of the celtic deserve to win a title as well. LETS GO CELTICS
