National exposure

Posted by Marc J. Spears, Globe Staff January 10, 2008 04:38 PM

With the Celtics surprising run of dominance, despite last night's loss to the lowly Bobcats, TV execs want more green and white on the national stage.

The NBA has announced three television schedule changes.

The January 27th game at Orlando was moved from a 6 p.m. start to a 1 p.m. start and will be shown on ABC.

The February 10th home game vs. the defending champion Spurs was moved from 7 p.m. to 1 p.m. to accomodate another ABC broadcast.

The February 22 road game vs. the Suns will be aired on ESPN at 10:30 p.m.
