Welcome to the Garden, where the Boston Celtics (29-3) will take on the Charlotte Bobcats (12-21) at 7:30 p.m.

Charlotte is coming off a big (according to the team’s website) win over New Jersey last night. The Bobcats can be a scary team despite their record. They have wins over Utah, Portland, and Cleveland this season, and the Celtics needed a Ray Allen three-pointer at the buzzer to beat the Bobcats down in Charlotte on Nov. 24.

Allen is questionable for tonight’s game with a pinched nerve in his neck. The shooting guard sat out of Tuesday’s practice with the injury. If Allen can’t go, Tony Allen will take his place in the starting lineup. We’ll have an update on Ray Allen’s injury as soon as it becomes available.

Charlotte will have its hands full tonight at the Garden. The Celtics haven’t played since Saturday’s win at Detroit, while the Bobcats played last night. Four days of rest should be enough to prevent this from being any sort of a letdown game for Boston.

It's 60 degrees outside, but it still manages to feel about 45 degrees in here. Unreal. Someone should open a window.

Not much going on yet at the Garden. Not a single player is currently warming up for either team. We’ll check back in a bit.
