Allen out vs. Spurs

Posted by Marc J. Spears, Globe Staff March 17, 2008 07:48 PM

Celtics guard Ray Allen is out for Monday night's game against the host Spurs with a left foot injury.

Allen tested the injury during a pre-game workout and it didn't feel well enough to play.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers said it was doubtful that the eight-time NBA All-Star would play at Houston on Tuesday and that it is more likely he will play Thursday at Dallas.
