A new 'do

Posted by Marc J. Spears, Globe Staff April 1, 2008 12:48 PM

Today at Celtics shootaround at Moody Bible Institute, former home of the NBA pre-draft camp in Chicago, there was a big surprise.

Forward Glen Davis showed up with a mohawk.

No, this was not a rookie hazing. Big Baby decided to do it on his own and had wanted one for some time.

When asked what his teammates thought about his new 'do, he said, "It's horrible."

  1. You gotta put a photo with your post ... otherwise, it's wasted words.

  1. I wonder if he got the idea from one of LIL PHUNKs members. Kyle has had his mohawk for 3 years now. If you don't know who LIL PHUNK is you should check them out. They have danced for 11 regular season games and now 4 play offs. They are almost as amazing as the Celtics themselves.
