Kevin Garnett was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday April 7 through Sunday April 13, 2008. It is Garnett's third such award this season.

Garnett becomes the first Celtic to have won the award three times in one season since Larry Bird won the award four times during the 1985-86 season. He has won it 18 times in his career.

Garnett averaged 19.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.25 steals for the week.
