Celtics look sharp
CHARLOTTE -- Celtics coach Doc Rivers said his team had a good practice today at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
Forward Paul Pierce was not with the team and is still in Boston following the birth of his daughter Friday.
Rivers said there is a small chance Pierce will make the trip for tomorrow's game in Milwaukee. The likely scenerio is Pierce will return on Wednesday for the team's game at Washington.
Rivers said all three of his All-Stars, Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen could miss the game in Milwaukee, or perhaps one could play. Allen is the most likely to play because of his ties to Milwaukee.
Allen recently was voted the third-most-popular player in Bucks history. He missed the last game in Milwaukee because of an ankle injury.
Rookie guard Gabe Pruitt practiced today after completing his third and final stint with the development league team in Utah. While the 2007 second-round pick is expected to be left off the playoff roster, he is expected to get some minutes in the remaining games of the regular season.
