Until this season started, I had not watched an NBA game in nearly 20 yrs. I used to watch 20-50 Celtics games a year back in the 1980's. Sorry to be a bit of a fairweather fan, but the on-court product just wasn't worth watching for me. This years Celtics however, I think I have seen all or part of at least 50 games so far. Let's hope it continues into the postseason.
I just wanted to publicly say how much I have enjoyed Comcast Sports fine presentation of the Celtics' season. All of the guys have become like my best friends over the last year. Gary T, I have especially enjoyed your work, but also donnie, greg and of course the guys who are nationally famous like tommy. I'm a 42 year old fan from Liberal, KS, but I bet I'm as big a fan as you'll find outside of Boston and displaced Bostonians. I'm not a fair weather fan either. I even watched when it was guys like purvis that I never particulary liked. Of course being from Kansas and a Paul Pierce fan I shortly thereafter had a new reason to watch. I always said that Pierce was underated. When everyone in kansas was talking Lefrentz, I was saying Pierce. This year I got League Pass for the first time and also Comcast NE on my dish network. The latter has meant almost as much to me as the former. What a year to be a Bball fan! Hawks and then Celtics. I'm on a heck of a high.
