Shirts for fans
![]() The shirts fans will receive at Wednesday's game. |
Celtics fans will receive a T-shirt upon entrance to Wednesday night's game against the Hawks, according to a press release from Reebok, the company providing the shirts.

great . . . now we will look like the same cheesy fans that all the other garbage fans wear (Wizards, Heat, Warriors). I though we were above this.
So are they giving these shirts away so that all the fans will have green shirts?
Nice...
Any idea if this is going to be for the first "X" number of people or what?
if they play like they did the other night, I'll give it back to them at the end of the game
Good lord, the sheep have arrived in Boston.
right on, bring ur green and white to rock the place out.
no towels please.
could you send me one in x-large--I cannot go to the game tonight. Thank you so much Dorothy Iudice 201 Melrose St. Melrose MA 02176
Just because they are giving t-shirts out doesn't mean all the fans are going to wear them. Most real Celtics fans are wearing green to the game anyway - I know I will be. Also, at least it's dark green and we're not going with the "white-out" angle. Finally, we're known for being the loudest building in the league already, that's not going to change with some silly shirts. Stop complaining about the shirts and bring your A-game to the Garden like the rest of us.
No! This can't be happening in Boston! Don't tell me the city has turned into lemmings!
Good move, show me the green. Let's get behind them all the way, make some noise.
A wall of Green, everybody chanting "U-BUN_TU!!!" at the top of their lungs... this Game 5 is gonna rock. Let's go Cs!
Are those green shirts for all the bandwagon fans whose one Celtic jersey (Garnett) is dirty so now they need something to wear to support 'their' team? I thought Boston was suppose to have real fans...
Posting an address? Interesting...
The idea is great. I have been a life long Celtics fan, I I love it! Enough with the tradition crap. Arenas look great when all of the hometown team's fans wear the same color in support of the team. Stop the whining. Its the 2000s we aren't stuck in the 1950s. The tradition card is overdone.
heard it was first 15,0000
HAHAHA
HAHAHA
Is Dorothy serious???!
Globies, you should delete that last post.
Globies, you should delete that last comment.
I'll get right on that Dorothy.....
I'll get right on that Dorothy.....
Only in Boston do people complain about free shit!
No prblem Dorothy, I'll even include an extra one just in case!
Hey Dottie, you sound like a hottie. What's your number?
Where were your T-shirts last year ,Like Mike Bibby said u ban wagon jumpers if you don't lose to the Hawks I hope you lose somebody.
I like the whole same color shirt thing and the waving of the towels.. It looks cool and who cares if other places do it.. it works doesnt it!!
think i heard first 15k
im just gonna use mine to whip any hawk thugs i see
I want the Garden ROCKING tonight!
Can I have two? I want to save one for Al Horford so he can wear it when he's off next week.
After game 3 I'm wondering if this comes with a complimentary paper bag with eye-holes?
Dorothy I,
I don't think we are in Kansas anymore....................
As long as thundersticks never make an appearance it's good by me.
Well this way you can easily find all of the drunks at the Garden...wait, that's everyone...
Please donate my shirt to the home shelter or the battered wife group.
..nice I don't have one. In regards to #5 comment..don't be so hard on them they came a long way. Stop being a fair weather fan. Support at all costs.
All of this shit started with those damn dancers. This isn't the Celtics team that I've loved for more than 50 years.
Well, you don't *have* to put them on. It's just Reebok marketing (goodness, that logo is HUGE.) Having said that, I'm curious as to how "green" the spectators will be tonight. For the record, I also hate the opposing arenas where everyone's wearing white or orange or whatever, and I especially hate towel-wavers and those people with those things that look like giant straws behind the baskets. Just be really loud, like in Games 1 and 2.
I'm not going to be at tonight's game, sadly, but if I were, and got this t-shirt, I wouldn't put it on though but I would definitely keep it for the weekends when I'm out mowing the lawn and buying groceries. If it *only* had the Celtics logo, I'd wear it everywhere.
So Dumb. The Celtics are supposed to be the most storied franchise in basketball. This is something an expansion team does. It's embarrassing.
Rock out tonight for us Beantowners living away from the action (i.e. out of New England at the moment). But throw away those shirts- we don't need corporate gimmicks to be the toughest fans in the country.
This is great. Thank you Reebok!
towels and thundersticks and promos...Oh my!
I'm a bit short on cash (lawyers are so darn expensive) and I need to get something for my wife Deb. For some reason I'm in her dog house. Could anyone grab one for me and send it to me via Fedex? Thanks, The Anti-Christ
I'm surprised Dorothy the Superfan didn't include her credit card and checking account information, just for good measure.
Think Rondo will deliver it for her?
