Sixth man award
Celtics forward James Posey finished in eighth place in the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award voting and received three first-place votes, 10 second-place votes and 19 third-place votes while San Antonio’s Manu Ginobili won the award. Hawks forward Josh Childress finished in seventh-place. “I’m just doing my role the best I can,” Posey said. “It’s all about winning. It’s not about numbers.”
