Posted by Michael Vega, Globe Staff May 16, 2008 09:55 PM

CLEVELAND --- After trailing by 16, 51-35, the Celtics reeled off 13 unanswered points, hitting 5 of 6 shots, including a pair of 3-pointers by Paul Pierce that ignited and capped the run and three consecutive jumpers by Kevin Garnett to whittle Cleveland's lead to 3, 51-48, on Pierce's trey with 3:52 to go.

At this juncture, the Celtics are shooting 20-for-50 from the field; Cleveland 15-for-49.
