Getting closer ...

Posted by Gary Dzen, Boston.com Staff May 8, 2008 05:23 PM

Celtics Kendrick Perkins, Tony Allen, and James Posey were all shooting on the parquet following the team's walk-through.

Posey was taking threes exclusively. He's been the open shooter in many of the games in these playoffs, and he's hitting threes at a 40 percent clip.

On the other end of the court, Zydrunas Ilgauskas was knocking down jumpers for the Cavs.

Over in the corner, Brian Scalabrine was talking to broadcaster/former coach Jeff Van Gundy. It was unclear what information Van Gundy was taking from Scal, since he hasn't played at all in the postseason.

The locker rooms are open soon. Back after talking to a few players.
