Posted by Gary Dzen, Boston.com Staff May 30, 2008 01:00 PM

Pistons guard Richard Hamilton participated in Friday morning’s shootaround and told the Associated Press he will play in tonight’s game against the Celtics.

Hamilton strained his right elbow at the end of Game 5 in Boston and was questionable.

  1. Thank GOD! RIP has been the man in this series. I hope it goes back to Boston for Game 7!

  1. Wow, only a Detroit fan commenting, a sad state of affairs. I for one would not be happy beating Detroit without Rip, it seems hollow enough with a weakened Billups. Either way, both those guys are in some level of pain, if the Celts don't close it out tonight that's just plain sad.

  1. Tony Allen is a complete clown. The C's should cut his ass right now.

  1. Doesn't Rondo just give you the fits? His crazy, slow lob passes leave you time to read the newspaper before they land in the hands of their intended recipient. He'll be better for this whole experience, but right now he looks lost. Who can bring up the ball besides Pierce? And he can't do it all the time. I love the Celts but fear the Lakers will rip them apart, if they even get past Detroit. KP is the BIG ONE!

  1. Rondo is the x factor and how the bench plays is another factor for the Celtics. As long as Rasheed is his usually self of being temper mental and Dice doesn't makes his 2 pointers and the old bill ups doesn't come back. Then Celtics has it on the wrap.
