Rivers' son on the move

Posted by Marc J. Spears, Globe Staff May 8, 2008 01:29 PM

Jeremiah Rivers, son of Celtics coach Doc Rivers, has decided to leave Georgetown University after two seasons. While it's uncertain why Jeremiah left, he is currently considering as many as five schools and hasn't made a decision on where he will transfer.

The Celtics will have shoot around at TD Banknorth Garden late this afternoon instead of having it in the morning.

  1. Come to BC, Jeremiah!!! We will need a PG after Ty Rice graduates.

  1. Wouldn't he have to sit out a year at BC? I mean, that might not be bad w/ Tyrese still on the roster for another season, but I almost think he'd be better off dropping down a division so that he could play.

That said, it would be great to see him at BC.
