Welcome to the Garden, where the Boston Celtics will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers at 3:30 p.m. in Game 7 of their second-round playoff series. The series is tied, 3-3, and the winner of today’s game will move on to face the Detroit Pistons in the conference finals.

The Celtics are currently holding a team walkthrough. It is closed to the media. The walkthrough kicks the Celtics dancers off of the parquet and makes them practice underneath the arena. It also means no updates on the players just yet. We’ll get some in a few minutes.

There’s a ton of media here today. With a couple of the other series (Lakers, Pistons) already wrapped up, the Garden is the place to be for a lot of the national writers.

The fans aren’t out in force for this one, yet. On the T ride from Dorchester, there were tons of Sox fans (the Sox and Brewers play at 1:30 p.m.) and not many Celtics fans. That will change soon.

Sorry if I haven’t really told you much, yet. We’ll have more informational updates when things here get up and running. Stay tuned.

  • Rajon Rondo’s publicist from BDA Sports, Ilana Nunn, wanted to be in attendance for today’s game, so she went to a car rental agency this morning to rent a car for the drive from New York. Her car of choice: The Kia Rondo. For good luck, she told the Globe’s Marc Spears.
