Free 'Gotta Beat LA' T-shirts tonight

Posted by David Lefort, Boston.com Staff June 5, 2008 01:30 PM

gotta_beat_la.jpgIf you're heading to the Garden for tonight's Game 1, you'll find a free white "Gotta Beat LA" T-shirt (pictured) waiting for you on your seat.

We're not sure if we'll see a "white-out" in the stands like they had in Pittsburgh for last night's Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals, but that's the idea I guess.

  1. HAHAHA! Someone should ask Denver how that worked, or Utah and San Antonio!

Green would have been a much better choice. But at least the white can be waved around like a surrender flag.

  1. what the hell is up with the "gotta" part? that pretty much ruins it, makes it sound so much less intimidating. and yea, shoulda been green, or black and green maybe

  1. The "gotta" part stands for "Gotta Go To Mo's". The t-shirts were sponsored by Modell's

  1. I found some Beat LA tshirts online. I was really looking for the old school 1988 one's though. http://www.kensavage.com/index.php/archives/2008-eastern-conference-championship/

    Nothing online either.
