Pierce jokes around on Kimmel

Paul Pierce engaged in some fun during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday evening.

The Celtics captain had a nurse cart him out in a wheelchair for his interview on the late-night program. Clutching the NBA Finals MVP trophy, Pierce sprang to his feet and threw his hands in the air as he reached the interview dais where Kimmel, a professed Laker fan, smiled from behind his desk.

Pierce kept the trophy on Kimmel's desk during an interview filled with friendly banter. Check out the video above for a clip from the show, or read this article from today's Globe.

be happy with your one and done celtic fans just like detroit and miami. the next couple of parades will be in lakerand. the celtics were supposed to be in the finals from day one when they sold their soul to win one ring. the lakers wasn't picked to go anywhere. paul pierce is a fake wannabe kobe bryant, but we got the real "TRUTH". how many first team nba does peirce have? 0. what about first second or third all defensive team, 0. all star mvp, 0. regular season mvp, 0. ever on any olympic teams? not to mention leads 3 rings to 1 and soon to be more. paul peirce isn't even the best player on his team. furthermore might not be in the top ten in the league. put that in your cigar and smoke it.

You forgot one buddy...how many finals MVPs has Kobe won, thats right ZERO. Can't do a thing without big brother Shaq. Keep crying Kobe.

pierce had more heart than kobe. You can have him and you know where you can put his awards!!
