Rondo blogs again

Posted by David Lefort, Boston.com Staff June 12, 2008 08:22 AM

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo checked in on his blog again last night, writing about his ankle injury:

I just wanted to give yall an update on things. I got some treatment on my ankle this morning. After that, I went to practice. I took it rather easy in practice today. Since then, I've just been resting and icing my ankle. I'm about to go get a massage in a minute. I won't be doing much else for the rest of the night...just chillin and icing for me. I will check in with yall before the game tomorrow. I'll holla!

  1. i know he has a lot more important stuff on his mind, but someone should tell Rajon that the word is spelled "holler".

  1. I think some one should tell Rondo to concentrate on his passes i.e. the lobs for Alley Hoops and be confident when taking the ball from the half.

ICE that ankle and get it in working order should all what is on his mind. He can misspell all he wants and I could care less.

I have a feeling he will be hobbling and Doc will need to have a game plan if he cannot go at full speed. Pierce and Allen to help bring ball up. Cassel, Eddy, and Tony should play under control like drop the ball to the post and thats it. I am sure Doc gets paid what he does and probably has a contingency plan. Even though I criticize him in the heat of the moment I do have some faith in him.

I have this bad feeling this game will be a lot like when Detroit played against the Celtics where Billups just could not contribute much. Rondo has different injury and hopefully he is young and can work through pain.

  1. Rajon! Ice that ankle and go get 'em tonite! Drive the hoop and don't be afraid to shoot! You are an awesome talent that will be here for years to come! Good luck tonite and always keep your head up! Thank you for such an un-selfish and never-say-die attitude!

  1. I am a big Celtics fan living in Phoenix. KG has just as much talent and ability at driving to the basket as Amare Stoudemire. The key is for KG to get position on the block every time down the floor. Just keep dunking the ball like Stoudemire does. Gasol is a Krispy Kreme donut, just keep punishing that wimp down low!!!

The Fakers will have no answer for it. Also, Pierce should keep driving to the basket. The Fakers are so soft in the paint, we NEED TO KEEP PUNISHING THEM DOWN LOW!!
