  1. With all due respect and the hoopla over the big 3 Rondo was the MVP of game 6.
He played like a man possesed and even Phil Jackson acknolwedged the fact that Rondo just picked them apart.
    Good job Rondo!!

  1. Class comments all around here. Thanks for the comments from L.A. What a championship. I remember watching the last one in college. This one was every bit as sweet! I'm sure Red was lighting up somewhere. I want to photoshop him into some of the great victory photos.

  1. WOW!!! As a Huge Boston Sports fan living in NJ, I can't believe how blessed we are as fans. I'm blown away by the truly genuine class acts for professional athletes that we are so fortunate to have representing our town. This win feels very much like the 2004 Red Sox to me - this finals victory was completely unexpected - way to go Celtics!!

  1. The one Celtic alumnus who should have been there last night and who deserves a piece of the trophy is Kevin McHale. I think all you Celtic fans can figure out why.

  1. One of the most mind-blowing games of any sport, I have ever seen in my life! Congratulations to the 2008 Boston Celtics...Champions on and off the court, in life, and a HUGE thank you to the players for showing my four kids that when you believe in yourself, sacrifice and give it everything you've got, the impossible becomes possible right before your eyes! Thanks so much for the awesome memories...I'm a back east girl way out here in So. CA still rooting for my New England teams after all these years! What a defining moment in so many special ways last night! Thanks so much, Boston Celtics! May you enjoy yourselves to the fullest in celebration of #17...

  1. Ahhhh shaddup. Congratulations Celtics fans. Of course this does not change anything, we still hate you in Philly. I'm going to get an Andrew Toney jersey and rock it in Boston. Y'all remember the Boston Strangler. That's all we've got in Philly is memories.
