LOS ANGELES -- Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy talks about the need, once again, for Kevin Garnett to step up on the big stage and lead the Celtics to an NBA championship.

  1. please do us all a favor and don't write about this for tomorrow's globe. while it might be relevant, the story line has - like most of the angles you take in your columns - already been beaten dead. how about showing a little initiative, digging a little deeper and writing from a place that hasn't been visited by every major media outlet in the world? or maybe thats too much to ask from the lead columnists of one of the biggest newpaper's in the country during the nba finals... maybe you can conduct a seance with a different deceased entity, like your passion for writing.
