  1. Defense wins championships!

I am a Laker fan and have been saying all year that the Lakers will not win a championship until they learn how to play defense for 48 minutes. Kind of like a team named the "Celtics."

I am tired of the Laker fans saying that the team is playing bad and Odom and Gasol haven't shown up. They haven't shown up because Boston is taking them out of their games with DEFENSE!

The regular season in the NBA is about making commitments and establishing team personality. The Celtics, since the beginning of the season, checked all of their egos at the door and made a concerted effort to be the best defensive team in the league...........this will ultimately lead to a championship because defense wins championships!

Congratulations Boston. I hope the Lakers make this commitment over the summer and during the regular season next year because if they do, they too will be a champion in the NBA.......
