Maggette to Warriors
Clippers free agent forward Corey Maggette has agreed to a five-year deal paying about $50 million to sign with the Golden State Warriors, according to The Los Angeles Times tonight.
The Celtics were interested in Maggette, who averaged a Clipper-best 22 points per game last season. Free agents can sign tomorrow. With Maggette off the market, more pressure is on the champion Celtics to re-sign forward James Posey.

Just goes to show you these players today are just looking for the big score. How do you turn down the World champs to play in Golden State? Huh? Don't they realize when you when win the rewards(Money, Fame) take care of themselves. Good luck in the lottery for the next decade.
Gotta love the NBA. Could've gone to two real contenders, sold out for the money. I'm glad the C's didn't get him now, shows its all about the money. Let the Maggette sucks chants commence!
If Maggette had signed with Boston, the first two posters would be singing his praises. Instead, we get these sour grapes. I wanted him on the Celtics too, but this is business, to hopelessly understate the case.
This is hilarious, just because he didnt chose your team now you decide to rip the guy. I guess every free agent available should sign with the Celtics now, at least thats what youre saying. And the Warriors deserve more respect that what you're giving them. Dont forget they are in the West, they would run through the East
