Presale tickets

Posted by Gary Dzen, Boston.com Staff September 5, 2008 01:58 PM

Celtics tickets for the 2008-2009 season will go on sale to the public on Friday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. However, by joining the team's new Club Green fan club (memberships start at $39), fans will be eligible to purchase tickets during a special presale period earlier that week.

Fans can join Club Green by visiting this website.

  1. And as usual, fans like me will be lucky if there is 1 balcony seat to a non-marquee game left at 10:05am.

  1. Call me crazy, however with the Pats season not looking too good right now and the Angels on automatic (not this year BoSox), Celtics season tickets look like the best buy in town.

  1. I totally agree with you. I have been a Celtics fan since the 1960's. Back then it
was so easy to get tickets. Now you have to pay to join some stupid club just to
be able to have a shot at getting two lousy tickets. Fair is fair, they certainly have
enough season ticket holders to guarantee a sell out every time. It is really
depressing. I have sat on my computer right at 10:00 AM and never gotten through
for even a lousy seat. Come on Celtics, give the people who have supported
you for years and years a shot at getting tickets. This club business is ridiculous.
