    Incorrect- a shamrock has four leafs, a clover is short for 3 leaf clover

  1. Erin, where do you get your info from? A clover leaf can have any number of "leaflets" but most commonly just 3 leaflets. A shamrock is a symbol (not an actual botanical term) of a clover leaf that has only 3 leaflets. You should look it up!!
