Pavlovic out for tonight's game

Posted by Julian Benbow, Globe Staff October 10, 2008 07:47 AM

Bill Walker joked at practice that he wouldn't have much of a chance to celebrate his birthday yesterday since he'd have to spend all night tonight guarding Cleveland's LeBron James and Sasha Pavlovic.

He was half right.

Pavlovic did not travel with the Cavaliers to Providence for the their game tonight against the Celtics at the Dunkin' Donuts Center due to a mild sprain of his right ankle suffered Wednesday in practice.

Pavlovic was in a pseudo-battle for the shooting guard spot with former Celtics Delonte West and Wally Szczerbiak.

Tip-off is set for 7:30.
