House stresses importance of each win
TD BANKNORTH GARDEN -- The Wizards (6-25) are a bad team, but Celtics guard Eddie House (11 points) didn't diminish the importance of tonight's win.
"It's important to try to take care of homecourt advantage," said House. "If you don't take care of home during the regular season it's pretty tough to take care of home throughout the playoffs."
Celtics forward Brian Scalabrine, who had 5 points in 10 minutes of play, said the Celtics never look at the quality of their opponent.
"I don't think it really matters," Scalabrine said. "Doc [Rivers] said at the beginning of the year that he wanted to make a schedule up, and every single game that we had was going to be a signal of the Boston Celtics, meaning we play against ourselves. Every night we play, it's us that we lose to or it's us that we beat. Really, it's all about us."

I find it interesting that House makes claims of taking advantage of homecourt advantage. And yet, when he and the reserves are on the court for the 4th quarter they always seem to get outscored! Mr. House, are you as bright as you think you are?
Talk is.cheap Eddie!!!!!! You have already lost the most importtant game to date!
Let's see if you guys can put together another nice little run so that we can break your hearts again Feb 5th!!!!!!

The new breed of Celtic fans are pitiful. Where were we before the Big Three? The Garden was empty then but now it's filled with disloyal fans who are riding the wave of an undeserving championship. We are enjoying our temporary taste of success but nevertheless, we shall go back into hiding once our "Beloved Celtics" get stripped of their ring. By the looks of things, this will be soon.
Agreed, Dynasty. This blog is filled with posts by countless bandwagon Celts fans that couldn't care less about the team 2 years ago.
