Nuggets center Nene is out and day to day with a bruised right knee while forward Kenyon Martin played despite back spasms. Before the game, Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony was given a ring from USA Basketball for winning a gold medal during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Celtics coach Doc Rivers said before the game that there is no new injury update on injured All-Star forward Kevin Garnett, but said he was in good spirits.
