  1. I CAN'T PICTURE MARBURY IN A CELTIC UNIFORM! HE SHOULD HAVE SHAVED
OFF HIS TATOO'S,HIS MUSTACHE AND GOTTEN A COMPLETE MAKEOVER.
I CAN'T STAND LOOKING AT THIS GUY.
WHAT WITH THE LOSS OF GARNETT,SCALABRINI,T.ALLEN,THE EPISODE WITH
PRUITT,THE "NO PLAY BY PERKINS" I HAVE BECOME DISENCHANTED WITH
WHAT WAS MY FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM. AT LEAST PLAY WALKER AND GIVVENS,AND GIVE THEM THEIR CHANCE.
WELL WE STILL HAVE RONDO, HE'S DOING GREAT.DON'T SCREW HIM UP.

  1. At first I wasn't crazy about Marbury coming to Boston but the more I thought about it, the more sense it makes. The guy is playing for his career. He needs to make an impression on teams that he's worthy of being signed to a contract. He can be a great complement to the Big 3 and if he gets back on his game, it'll be great. If he becomes more of a liability, the C's can cut him at a minimal loss. It's a win-win situation for the C's

  1. Your so positive!!! Tatoo, mustache whatever he has, does not make him or any other person anyone less of a person in this case person/player. Lack of good judgement, uncompassionate, elitist, overbearing among others might make one less of a person. Maybe you should think twice about your thoughts put in words. Go C's, 18th coming!!!

  1. HELLOOOO GEORGE!

I think Marbury backing up Rondo, and basically replacing Cassell in the lineup, is a huge win for the celtics. KG, Paul, and Ray will keep him in line.

  1. It makes a lot of sense. Tony Allen is out, and Eddie House has looser handles than a 50 year old beer guzzler.

Rondo still runs hot and cold on his jumper. When it's a big game and Rondo can't get it going, I'm all for Starbury playing serious minutes.

  1. as long as he doesnt think he is or can replace rondo and he knows where he stands in the pecking order-at the bottom! this is pierce,kg, and ray's team led by rondo. everyone else is second to last! cross your fingers!

  1. Starbury is Manny. He quit on previous team, acquired for very little, and needs to make good to get paid next year. If Stephon performs like Manny did for the Dodgers last year, great. But, cautionary tale: you want to date him, not marry him. Dodgers should give up on Manny's latest contract negotiations. I don't want the Celtics to sign Marbury long term, because they don't need the distraction that inevitably will come up NEXT YEAR.
