Free agent forward Shelden Williams signed with the Celtics, the team announced Friday. Terms of the contract were not released.

Williams, who averaged 4.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 45 games last season with Sacramento and Minnesota last season, is expected to receive the veteran's minimum salary of $1.3 million.
