The Maine Red Claws are expected to name former NBA guard Randy Livingston and former Celtic scout Mike Procopio as assistants to head coach Austin Ainge, a league source said today.

Livingston played for nine teams in an 11-year NBA career, then went to Idaho and was chosen the D League's most valuable player in 2007, retiring to become an assistant coach with the Stampede.

Among Procopio's first assignments will be to organize a tryout for prospective players in Charlotte, N.C., next week. Procopio will return to his role as director of basketball operations at the Attack Athletics facility in Chicago after the D League season.
