" ... That was weeks ago, Charlie Murphy ..."
Remember a couple weeks back, you know, when Kevin Garnett was "washed up." Out-of-town reporters made it sound like the Celtics had given up on doctors, and hired auto mechanics to work on his legs. His jump shot was so far off, Garnett said that even he wouldn't guard himself.
The NBA named Garnett Player of the Week in the East. Carlos Boozer won it out West.
His numbers from the road trip:
Dec. 1 @ Charlotte: Posted 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a 108-90 win over the Bobcats.Dec. 3 @ San Antonio: Scored 20 points to go along with seven rebounds, five assists and two steals in a 90-83 win over the Spurs.
Dec. 4 @ Oklahoma City: Tallied 23 points, eight rebounds and three assists in a 105-87 win over the Thunder.
