Despite missing the past 10 games heading into Friday's game with the Portland Trail Blazers, Kevin Garnett has been named a starter on the Eastern Conference All-Star team along with Allen Iverson, Dwight Howard, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

Garnett is averaging 15 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and nearly 55 percent shooting.

The West starters are Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Amare Stoudemire, Tim Duncan and Carmelo Anthony.
