Celtics head coach Doc Rivers was not on hand for today's practice at the Sports Authority Complex in Waltham.

Celtics spokesman Jeff Twiss said Rivers had to attend to personal matters but would rejoin the team tomorrow with the Celtics heading to play Miami on Wednesday.

The team had Sunday off after beating Toronto 103-96 Saturday night. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo did not practice. Garnett lifted weights. Pierce was "moving around (and) did some shooting," said associate coach Tom Thibodeau. Rondo was on the sidelines as practice closed.
